1. Crushing Ice

2. Making Bread Crumbs
Homemade bread crumbs could be customized in terms of the size of the crumbs and the kind of bread you need for making crumbs. For making bread crumbs, all you have to do is tear the bread to pieces and using the food processor, just pulse until the desired texture is achieved.
3. Whipping Cream
While making desserts, whipping cream could be a time consuming task. However, using your food processor, this could be made easy and simplified. For the basic sweetened whip cream, just process 1 ½ cups heavy cream, half teaspoon vanilla extract, and two tablespoons sugar. Process for nearly a minute and the superquick whipped cream is ready!
4. Creating Flavored Salts
For creating flavored salts take half cup coarse sea salt and half cup fresh thyme or rosemary leaves. Using your food processor, process for nearly half a minute until the ingredients are finely grounded. The flavored salt could be stored in the refrigerator for seven days.
5. Making Substitute for Brown Sugar
Generally brown sugar is prepared by mixing either molasses and white sugar or molasses and pre-crystalized sugarcane syrup. A quick alternative could be prepared by mixing a cup of granulated sugar and a tablespoon molasses in the food processor. This would be light brown sugar and if you want dark brown sugar, pulse a cup of granulated sugar and two tablespoons molasses.
6. Grinding Nut Flours
Your food processor could process nuts in a variety of ways. They can simply be chopped or completely ground to form a paste. The longer you process the nuts in your food processor, the more oil they would release and would become closer to nut butter. For preparing nut flour, pulse the two cups of the required nuts (whole almonds, hazelnuts, cashew, pistachios, or peanuts) for about 16- 20 pulses. When they are finely ground, they would yield nearly 2 ½ cups of the nut flour.
