The BIMP-EAGA Trade and Tourism Expo and Business Summit 2005 are aimed to promote and strengthen trade ties and the tourism industry of each member country.

The event provides the opportunity for the member countries, to promote and exchange their products, goods and services not only within the BIMP-EAGA region but also to other countries like Australia, Japan, China, Korea and the ASEAN. Various tourist destinations are showcased thereby enticing the local and foreign tourists to visit their country.

In addition, it will also strengthen the partnership and cooperation of the member countries in achieving its vision and goal of increasing trade, tourism , and investments in the growth area taking into consideration its major location in the ASEAN having high value added agro-industry, natural resource-based manufacturing, non-resource based industries, and high-grade tourism.

“Revitalizing and Strengthening its Partnership and Cooperation”

East Asian Business Summit

This inaugural event, which will be managed by Asia Inc Forum, has the overall aim of promoting BIMP-EAGA and in particular Brunei Darussalam to the region. The format will be mainly highly interactive panel discussions featuring the region’s leading business and government policy makers. Keynote speeches will be given where appropriate.

Buyer & Seller

Business matching between the buyer and the seller is a channel for facilitating new business ventures among the participants, as well as, exchange information and experiences insofar as the growth cooperation is concerned.

Food Festival

This exciting food festival will attract the attendees to the various cuisines.

Golf Invitational Friendship Game (Concurrent Event) *Tentative

 The Golf Invitational Friendship Game is a good venue and opportunity to increase cooperation and social interaction between the participants and guests from the BIMP-EAGA-member countries, as well as, its development partners and the neighboring countries.
